A jumbo-sized replica of Donald Trump’s reported birthday card to Jeffrey Epstein was erected on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., on Monday.

The gargantuan card was the work of The Secret Handshake, an activist group that also put up the massive statue of Trump and Epstein shaking hands on the Mall late last year, according to local CBS affiliate WUSA. The giant card appeared one day before Epstein’s birthday, Jan. 20.

It is a colossal copy of a letter allegedly sent by Trump to Epstein on the pedophile’s 50th birthday. Trump has claimed it is fake.

“We have certain things in common, Jeffrey,” Trump says.

“Yes we do, come to think of it,” replies Epstein.

“Enigmas never age, have you noticed that?” Trump counters.

The letter closes out with the line: “A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

The file, first reported by the Wall Street Journal last summer, was released by Congress in September 2025. Trump has continued to call it a fabrication.

“I never wrote a picture in my life. I don’t draw pictures of women,” he has said. “It’s not my language. It’s not my words.”

Trump later sued the Wall Street Journal and its owner, Rupert Murdoch, for $10 billion. That case is still ongoing.

Trump and Epstein were friends for many years, but Trump has claimed they had a falling out well before Epstein was arrested in 2019, charged with child sex trafficking and died by suicide in a Manhattan jail cell.

“The Secret Handshake invites you to celebrate the birthday of President Donald Trump’s ‘closest friend,’ Jeffrey Epstein, with a larger than life tribute to their intimate correspondence,” the activist organization wrote, according to WUSA.
