Harry Styles has splashed out £20,000 on an infra-red sauna for his home.

The Aperture hitmaker has followed in the footsteps of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Ellie Goulding and Lady Gaga in having the wellness facility - which helps reduce pain, blood pressure and inflammation - installed in his London property and hopes it will help him stay in the best possible shape during his upcoming Together, Together world tour.

A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper's Bizarre column: "Harry is incredibly health-conscious these days.

"He loves running and needs to be on top of his health during his upcoming tour. He'll be able to use the sauna in between shows to help repair his muscles.

"He loves running now and it's the perfect antidote to training."

During his career break last year, Harry ran marathons in both Berlin and Tokyo - clocking up impressive finish times of 2:59:13 and 3:24:07 respectively - and recently spoke of how running has helped him to step away from the pressure of his fame.

After completing his 173-date Love On Tour in July 2023, Harry took time away from music to travel, spend time with friends and family and experience events as a fan rather than a performer, and pounding the pavement helped him process what he'd seen.

He told Runner's World magazine: "Because in some of those new experiences, there's just so much stimulation, right? So many people, and it's just so loud.

"So then running also became my processing place for all of that. Really being by myself.

"When you're training for a marathon, which is the loneliest part, you just kind of set out for a run, and three hours later you come back.

"But there's a real synergy between that and electronic music. It's kind of hypnotic and becomes like a mantra almost."

Harry said running also allowed him to move through public spaces without attracting constant attention.

He went on: "Well, the main thing is that you're always moving. You can turn a corner wherever.

"I think with people who see me, it's a bit more 'Was that…?' rather than, 'Oh look it's him!' And by that time, you're already gone.

"For me, one of the things that can be complicated is that, as an artist, say if you're a novelist or a musician or a filmmaker, you're an observer - but when you become a known person, you become the observed.

"So something I love so much about running is the simplicity of it. You are the observer once more, and you can go about your day in the most naked form.

"It's just you, alone, moving through the world. That's what I love about it: You don't need anything, just a pair of shoes."
